Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you teach absolute beginners?

Yes. Absolutely. Even if you've never even held a guitar before I will have you up an strumming in no time!

Do you teach children?

Yes from the age of 8. I'm also very aware of the pressure of homework and other activities so we can build that into a sensible practice schedule.

Where are you based?

I am a mobile guitar teacher so actually teach all of my guitar students in the comfort of their own homes for no extra charge. If you are based in Bristol I will travel to you.

What will we learn?

Lessons will be based around songs that you want to learn. We'll choose songs together based on what they offer in terms of chords, scales and rythmn according to your ability.

What do I need?

You'll need a guitar! Acoustic or electric. I strongly recommend that if you intend to play mostly electric guitar then you start on an electric. I can offer advice on guitar and accessory purchases for all budgets.

Do you teach grades?

Yes. I teach RockSchool guitar grades and have a 100% pass rate at merit or above. Check out their website (www.rockschool.co.uk) to find out more!

Cancellation Policy:
